St. Martin de Porres House of Hope is a transitional shelter for homeless women and their children. St. Martin not only provides safe shelter and food, but also an intensive rehabilitation program. An integral part of this rehabilitation program is the music program given by Harmony, Hope and Healing. St. Anne Sharing Board is a significant supporter of this music ministry program. This year, St. Martin de Porres celebrates its 35th anniversary on May 19th with a brunch at Old St. Pat’s Church.
Harmony Hope & Healing recently celebrated it’s 15th year anniversary. Every single one of those 15 years, HHH has served the women and children of St. Martin de Porres. For more information on the shelter, please visit their website at http://www.smdp-hoh.org/
Below are pictures from the 15th anniversary celebration that featured music by the HHH ensemble as well as performances by Roderick Dixon and Alfreda Burke of the Auditorium Theatre. See more information and videos of the performances at http://www.harmonyhopeandhealing.org/
