A Final Word from Amy Kane
Dear People of Saint Anne,
As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator here for the last 8 ½ years, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you of my decision to resign from my position here at Saint Anne Catholic Community. As life and activity slowed down during the pandemic, it gave me a period of discernment as to the next chapter in my life. I am truly grateful, as I have received so much from my role here.
I owe a huge amount of gratitude to Father Bernie for creating the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator, believing in my abilities to serve and hiring me back in 2014. My job responsibilities over the years have been website management, E-communications, serving as Community Life Staff Animator on our Parish Council of Ministries, parish Core Staff, founding co-chair and committee member of the Fall Golf Classic, Welcoming Ministry team member, media and social media relations. I have enjoyed the blessings of working with fellow Community Life members on our “Music Under the Stars” events, Trivia Nights, our beloved Seniors Group, S.T.A.G.G., and Saint Anne Women’s Club. We are a blessed community to have such talented and vibrant volunteers and committed members of these parish life groups.
Thank you, Father Bernie, for your exemplary leadership, guidance, and being a true example of humility, courage and compassion. Thank you, Margaret Buckstaff, for all of the wisdom, dedication, and friendship you have shown me over the years.
Working with our Saint Anne staff has been an honor and a privilege. You are ALL so inspirational, dedicated, selfless, and true witnesses to our faith. A special thank you to our parishioners, as I have learned so much from you. Your commitment to Saint Anne is remarkable!
In closing, I look forward to continuing my journey with Saint Anne Catholic Community as a parishioner and volunteer. I will carry all of you in my heart and keep you in my prayers.
