Congratulations on your Retirement
In March of 1994, Carol Helmers came to Saint Anne to help in the office as needed, to work with procurement and structure computer input for the parish. In the twenty-eight years that she has been with Saint Anne, she has mastered so many different roles in the parish. She oversees tuition collection, posts all of the contributions from parishioners and has become an invaluable member of our parish staff, especially to me as she assumed the role of my assistant.
In those twenty-eight years she has grown as an employee and as a confidant for so many of our families. I truly believe that her efforts have helped to bring Saint Anne into the 21st century by increasing her knowledge of all aspects of her job. As we all know, when you have been with an employer for that long, it is essential that you grow with the times. She has shown an uncanny ability to do so.
All that being said Carol has reached the time in her life when she would like to spend more time with her family. Her husband is retired and her daughter and son in law live in the Milwaukee area with their two beautiful daughters. Carol wants to become more active in all of their lives. At the end of January, this dream will come true for Carol as she retires from her position at Saint Anne. She has graciously agreed to consult with us on a very part time basis as the training of her ‘replacement’ takes place. I put that in quotes as nobody can really replace the dedication that you see with that many years of service.
Join me in wishing Carol the very best that retirement has to offer.
