Over the past weeks your children have been learning about CREATION and their responsibility as Catholics to protect this amazing gift they have received from God. The children committed to take action in response to Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si’. Their efforts reflect love and gratitude to our Creator, concern for others, and care for our common home. Their action commitments will be presented as part of the Offertory at all our weekend Masses on the Feast of Christ the King.
Acknowledge the commitments of our Saint Anne Parish School students.
We encourage you, please come to one of our parish weekend Masses on
November 20th or 21st
At these Masses Saint Anne will also celebrate the exciting milestone of the Vatican’s launch of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform and the selection of our Parish and Parish School as a creation care model for other parishes across the Archdiocese of Chicago and around the world! Our Creation Care Team will share in the months ahead how our parish and school will journey toward integral ecology and how your family and other individual parishioners can participate in the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform. Adults can learn more by visiting www.laudatosiactionplatform.org.
