Dear People of Saint Anne,
As I reflect upon my last seven years here at Saint Anne, I have been deeply blessed to be your pastor. This faith community, founded over 150 years ago as a small country parish, is now the spiritual home to nearly 3,600 families. As parishioners, you have truly given over your lives to the mission of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his commission to build his church.
I am inspired by the ministry and dedication of our parishioners of all ages, who have given their time, talent and love to our parish. Each and every day, as believers and servant disciples of Jesus, we are living out the Gospel message of Christ, who came that we have might have life and live it more abundantly. Together, we gather in worship, welcome others to the faith and deepen our relationship with Christ through our commitment to life long faith formation for all. We share ourselves and our resources in God’s service with compassion for our sisters and brothers in need.
Over the long history of our parish community, individual families like your own have made the sacrifices necessary to build and grow our faith community and set a high bar for us today. Saint Anne’s campaign, called Legacy of Faith, will require significant support from the parish and will depend upon your prayerful participation and generosity.
Our overall goal is to raise $6 million. To reach this goal, every parishioner needs to participate in a spirit of true Christian stewardship for which you are known as a people. Not everyone can contribute the same amount, but every contribution will help our community prosper in faith in the future.
Through announcements, mailings, gatherings and various communications, our campaign volunteers are striving to ensure that all parish households are informed of the campaign and its plans.
I invite you to learn more about our parish campaign and to receive this message with an open heart. This is a wonderful opportunity to maintain and enrich our faith community for each other and for future generations.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Father Bernie Pietrzak
