Get to Know Your Saint Anne
Faith Formation and Education Commission
At Saint Anne, our wish is for every person to experience a rich and fruitful faith life. While growing up, many of us experienced parish-led faith formation opportunities primarily as children. As with any other important area of life, our faith continues to grow and mature as we do. Fortunately, formation opportunities today are more plentiful and are available for parishioners of all ages and life stages through intergenerational, life-stage and age-based offerings. Our multi-faceted approach is designed to reach the entire Saint Anne community, meeting people where they are and journeying together.
For adults of all ages, there are opportunities to explore and deepen our faith in a variety of settings; intergenerational, life-stage, gender-based, small group gatherings, and large-group experiences. Together we discover in greater depth Christ’s wisdom and how he wants us to apply our faith to the everyday world in which we live. Examples of some adult offerings include:
Prayer and Reflection - opportunities to experience and practice different forms of prayer and reflection that can be practiced in daily life
Soup Supper and Discussion – sharing in a simple soup supper along with an enriching faith program and facilitated discussion
Women’s Scripture Study - women seeking to know more deeply the Word of God
For children and teens, we provide an enhanced Catholic foundation through small and large-group gatherings, family events, service, and sacrament preparation and reception. Examples of formation opportunities for children and teens:
Children’s Faith Formation – for children in grades 1-5 and their families
Journey – formation, service and community for children in grades 6-8
SPRED - formation and sacrament preparation for individuals with developmental challenges
This is your invitation to share in the comfort of connection, inclusion and love through joining with community and growing and sharing in faith together.
Please join us after all Masses on June 1 and 2
in the Gathering Space to learn more about our ministries
and how you can participate!
As individuals, couples and families,
when we experience and share our faith together as community
we are all richer for the experience!
