The Little Sisters of the Poor are an international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious. They serve the elderly in over 30 countries around the world. On Thursday, October 17 members of the Saint Anne Women’s Club are invited to participate in “A Day of Service” at St. Joseph’s Home which is run by Little Sisters of the Poor. We will use this time to provide companionship through art. Residents there love to simply color and have visitors. All materials will be provided through the club and House of Hope. We hope you can join us and spend time doing something fun and rewarding and is appreciated by the residents. We will meet at 2:00 at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly at 80 W. Northwest Highway in Palatine. For more information, please contact Anne Rometty at arometty@gmail.com.
