VICARIATE I BANQUET Saint Anne high school seniors were recently acknowledged at a Vicariate I banquet for their contributions to the Saint Anne Catholic Community. Each of these seniors has given a significant amount of time and talent to our community. Bishop Rassas awarded honors to our students as well as to dozens of other students from Vicariate I parishes. Their parents and other family members joined them for this honor. Also present were significant adults from Saint Anne who have walked along with these students in their faith life. These men and women are: Georgene Farman, Diane Scardino, Paul Schnepf, Tom Kurcab, Father Chris and our Youth and Young Adult Minister Michael Hugo. We are grateful for these talented, faith- filled and devoted young men and women who bless our community with their loving service. As their youth minister, I know I will miss them greatly as they go off to various colleges and universities, but, I also believe they will be the “leaven” that Jesus spoke of in the Gospels that will positively influence other young people’s lives with Gospel values. We thank them and ask God’s blessing upon their future lives.
