A big thank you to all who contributed to the 2020 Sharing Tree!
Due to the pandemic, everything had to change about the Sharing Tree: no ornaments, no physical gifts, online donations. The need of our Sharing Partners is greater than ever, and we were concerned about getting that message to you.
We were amazed at the generosity of the people of St. Anne!
- St. Frances of Rome – received generous contributions to their tuition assistance program, which is in desperate need this year as students’ families struggle financially more than ever. In addition, St. Anne School classrooms provided gifts for 20 families in need, which included 57 children.
- St. Columbanus Food Pantry – received generous donations of cash and gift cards to assist in serving their clients.
Thank you to Tony Ciganak & Erykah Accordino for their help with gift collection and tallying. Thanks also to Dawn Kapka and all the St. Anne School teachers for their assistance with the St. Frances family gifts.
During a time of year when many do not have the means for basic necessities, and the luxury of gifts under a tree is incomprehensible, your generosity and selflessness were able to bring holiday blessings to so many. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment! St. Anne’s is truly blessed to have such a thoughtful, giving and caring parish community.
Lisa Koehler & Danell O’Neill (coordinators)
Thank you to Lisa Koehler and Danell O’Neill and their families for coordinating the Sharing Tree this year.
You made a difference for those less fortunate.
