Saint Anne Women’s Scripture Sharing
The women of Saint Anne Women’s Scripture Sharing gather together to read and study God’s word found in scripture and to share our faith with one another. In this way we follow the directives of the Bible to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), share our gifts (1 Peter 4:10), and together enhance our spiritual growth (Ephesians 4:16).
We strive to be a strong faith community that draws us closer to God’s presence in His word, while at the same time drawing us closer to one another. Our primary focus is on scripture which enriches our perspectives on our lives, our community and our world, giving life to the Word of God. During our time together we pray, study and share with one another in confidence and trust.
Beginning on March 20, the spring study will be Scripture and the Rosary. This five-week study enriches the contemplation of the mysteries of the rosary through encountering them at their source in Sacred Scripture. Five Scripture passages from the New Testament are explored for each set of the rosary’s mysteries: Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous, and Glorious. Participants will receive a study guide, Scripture and the Rosary, and a commentary, Hail Mary, Holy Bible. Also included are reflection questions, prayers, and recorded lectures.
All are welcome!
We meet on Mondays from 9:15-11:15 a.m. in the Saint Anne Parish Center second floor conference room beginning March 20.
The spring study is $16, and includes books as well as commentary, study and reflection questions, prayers, and recorded lectures. You will receive payment information upon receipt of your registration.
