Saint Anne Listening Sessions
Next year the bishops of the world will gather in Rome for a highly important meeting–a synod. The word synod comes from the Greek words meaning ‘together’ and ‘on the road’. In Church and in society we walk together side-by-side, on the same road. We journey with the entire human family as the People of God. In preparation for that meeting, Pope Francis is calling on parishes across the globe to participate in listening sessions. He wants to hear the voices of the entire Church, including each one of us. The leadership of our Saint Anne Catholic Community also need to hear from us to understand how we experience our journey together as a parish and know how the Holy Spirit is inviting us to grow in communion with one another.
To that end, we are going to take time this Lent in small group listening sessions to pray together, to listen to each other’s responses to four questions, and to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to and through us. A letter with more detailed information is being mailed this week to all parish households; be on the lookout for it.
On the days and times listed below, parishioners will gather in-person in the Parish Center Gym.
EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to participate.

Childcare is being offered and requires registration for each child. A bit of basic demographic information is being collected at the time of registration, but no names will be recorded at the listening sessions so that all may feel comfortable voicing their thoughts.
This is a time of promise in our Church. We encourage everyone to participate in a listening session!
