Sunday 5:15 Mass
Each Sunday throughout the year, the Saint Anne teen community is encouraged to join together with the parish community to celebrate Sunday Liturgy at 5:15 in the evening. The teens themselves are an integral part of the preparation process for these masses, and the result has become the students’ own expression of their faith through the best “large group” experience there is — Sunday Mass.

Teen Choir
Our 5:15 p.m. Teen Choir offers teens an opportunity to use their musical gifts to enhance our community prayer and to enrich their own faith lives. All parish Middle and High School students are welcome to participate. Rehearsals happen on Sundays at 4:00, just before the Mass. If you wish to join us, just come any Sunday at 4:00 and we’ll add you to the roster! (Instrumentalists should contact Rory Cooney at 847-620-3064).
Even though teens are encouraged in a special way to attend, the liturgies are not exclusively for teens. Rather, we hope to enhance the worship experience of our entire parish by involving people of all ages in the things that we plan and prepare.
Teen Ministry Training
Serving the community as a liturgical minister is one of the best ways we can give glory to God. In order to prepare young people for this service we sponsor Liturgical Ministry Training for teens several times during the year. After completion, teens are qualified to serve as Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at all general parish liturgies. Watch for information in the bulletin about these training sessions.
